Live classical music played during the service will create a uniquely personal atmosphere at your wedding. The Galadriel Ensemble will play your choice of music to make your day special and memorable for many years. We are also happy to advise you on your music selections and help you decide upon pieces of music to suit you.

Whilst your photographs are being taken, during the drinks reception or as a backdrop to the wedding breakfast the Galadriel Ensemble can provide an ideal ice-breaker and talking point for your guests, as well as adding to the atmosphere of your special occasion. Our selection of music here depends upon your musical choices and our adaptation to the mood of your friends and family.

Typically we would start with a selection of popular classical music, such as Vivaldi's Winter from the Four Seasons or Satie’s famous Gymnopedie, providing an air of classical elegance whilst you sip your first glasses of champagne.

If you fancy a change later though we could spice things up a bit with some spicy latin and jazzy cocktail music such as Blue Moon and the traditional 'Jealousy Tango.' The Galadriel Ensemble also plays arrangements of romantic pop ballads or music from West End shows and musicals.

The Galadriel Ensemble has considerable experience in playing at weddings and realise the various pressures you may be facing as the big day approaches. We will also accept future bookings up to several years ahead.

The Galadriel Ensemble is experienced in selecting the right music, individually tailored to your special day. We are happy to listen to your ideas and requests and, if necessary, to make suggestions so that we create an individual sound to match the tone of the day.

If there is a special piece of music you would like to hear which doesn’t appear on our repertoire list do not hesitate to let us know and we will be happy to make arrangements for your personalised musical choices. Similarly, we are happy to hear your musical requests from our repertoire list, particularly if you are keen to reflect you interests; for example, maybe you and your partner are ballroom dancing enthusiasts - why not glide across the floor to our selection of waltzes and traditional dances? If there are lots of children at your special day, we could play a special selection for them, including Jungle Book tunes and the Teddy Bears Picnic.

The Galadriel Ensemble's unique pairing of flute and cello form the basis for it's accomplished and distinctive musical sound and style. However, dependent upon your choice of music, venue, and, of course, your budget we can provide you with up to four female classical musicians comprised from a consistent core of experienced musicians in the South East;

The flexibility of the size and type of our ensemble allows us to accommodate any situation or venue you desire for live music.

Our most popular booking is for flute and cello. This duo plays repertoire across the broad range of styles and is suitable for all size of venues. However, as we are only two we will not overpower the guests' conversation, taking up a minimum of floor space and budget!

This ensemble covers the full spectrum of musical styles taking up less space than a traditional string quartet though suited to any size of venue.

The elegance of the string quartet sound with the addition of the individual beauty of the flute. This ensemble has the full repertoire, from classical to jazz styles. This quartet is suited to all venues although the volume may be overpowering in a small home-wedding.
