Flute and Strings

The Galadriel Ensemble was formed in 2000 by professional musicians Zoё Booth (flute) and Jessica Cox (cello) following their studies at The Royal Northern College of Music and Royal Academy of Music respectively.  Since 2000 they have developed their reputation and repertoire through collaborations with other musicians, to become renowned in the promotion of classical and contemporary music for flute, piano and strings, as well as new arrangements of many works.

Based in the southeast the ensemble aims to entertain on all levels in order to promote chamber music and concert going. As well as the lunchtime and evening recitals they give across the region they also have great experience playing at formal functions such as weddings and large business events; they have entertained at prestigious venues such as Hampton Court, The Carlton Club, Wentworth Golf Club and at The National Portrait Gallery in London. The Galadriel Ensemble are also particularly focussed upon bringing music into the lives of those where it will make a considerable difference, in an informative and educational capacity, and have experience giving Education Workshops across the country.
