Zoë is a committed teacher, working with students of all ages -

Zoë first gained a MusB (Hons) degree in Manchester from the University of Manchester (Joint Course), then a GRNCM (upper level) and PPRNCM in flute from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester the following year. She achieved qualified teacher status through the GTP (graduate teacher programme) in 2008 from the Institute of Education in London and became a graded panel examiner for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in 2010.

Zoë began working as a one-
In 2003 she established ‘Flutes at the Barns,’ a programme of residential courses
for adult flute players. The courses provide the opportunity for adults to improve
their playing through workshops, masterclasses and performances and to share musical
experiences through ensemble playing; they always prove to be sociable and enjoyable
experiences too! Held several times a year in beautiful locations across the UK

Zoë joined the Quadrivium Woodwind Quartet in 2004, making weekly visits to primary
schools across Hertfordshire to present live interactive workshops and introduce
children to woodwind instruments; during this period she visited over 100 different
schools. Zoë still enjoys making workshop-
In 2007 Zoë was given the opportunity to gain qualified teacher status (QTS) through
